With a lifetime of skills and knowledge behind each member, the Men’s Shed offers an opportunity to put these talents to use by sharing with and teaching others.

I like using my hands to make things, fix things and just tinker” says Andres Swain.
I also like to learn new skills from my fellow Shedders and share my own skills with them.
3. Having a purpose
Men’s Sheds have given thousands of men around the world a new lease on life. While many members are retired, others are stll working or in‐between jobs, simply looking for another outlet or for something productive to do with their spare time.

Statistics show that the number of friends an average person has decreases as the years go by.
